50/50 Dex-Cool - GM Approved for Warranty Work
Rice is the exclusive supplier in Ohio for this product from Recycling Fluid Technologies (listed below on GM's Bulletin). However, unless its warranty work you're performing, keep it simple and reduce headaches and inventory with Rice's 50/50 Universal ELC Antifreeze. It is the only one you need and eliminates the need to stock Dex-Cool, Orgininal Green and GO-5.
Concentrate or Ready-to-Use 50/50 Pre-Mixed Antifreeze?
Rice offers both concentrate and 50/50 Pre-Mix; however, the simple answer is KISS. Keep It Simple, buy 50/50 Pre-Mix and avoid all the hassles and risks of techs not consitently and properly diluting the concentrate with distilled water (often techs use city tap water or worse well water; not ideal as it encourages destructive deposits). It takes valuable time to get this distilled water/antifreeze concentrate ratio just right at your shop and there's a lot that can go wrong when you are pressed for time and try to do it yourself.
