Conventional 50/50 Low-Silicate Original Green Antifreeze/Coolant
Arriving at your facility in a 50/50 premixed concentration, this antifreeze is a "Fully Formulated" antifreeze using Penray inhibitor technology. Both automotive and heavy duty diesel applicatons are approved for this type antifreeze. This product may be used in diesel engines without a pre-charge of additional supplemental coolant additives (Normal SCA maintenance is required).
Meets ASTM D3306 and ASTM D6210 specifications.
Gentle Reminder: Keep it simple and reduce headaches and inventory with Rice's 50/50 Universal ELC Antifreeze. It is the only one you need and eliminates the need to stock Dex-Cool, Orgininal Green and GO-5.
Concentrate or Ready-to-Use 50/50 Pre-Mixed Antifreeze?
Rice offers both concentrate and 50/50 Pre-Mix; however, the simple answer is KISS. Keep It Simple, buy 50/50 Pre-Mix and avoid all the hassles and risks of techs not consitently and properly diluting the concentrate with distilled water (often techs use city tap water or worse well water; not ideal as it encourages destructive deposits). It takes valuable time to get this distilled water/antifreeze concentrate ratio just right at your shop and there's a lot that can go wrong when you are pressed for time and try to do it yourself.
